When you're looking to add a piece of content to the site, just click the "Create content" link over there on the right side of the page under your user name.

Add a photo This one can be a little tricky, because you actually upload the photo and get a preview as part of adding the entire content piece. Fill out the title, choose an image from your hardrive and click upload, and add a little more detail under the description field if you want. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click submit.
